Q: What years did you attend OC?
A: 2014-2016
Q: How did you end up at ߲Ƶ?
A: Engineering technology programs caught my eye. Needed a career path change.
Q: How did you choose your program?
A: I applied to all three engineering programs and Electronic Engineering Technology responded first.
Q: What did you like most about the program?
A: The immersion was incredible. Every day is a science whirlwind, and labs were fantastically engaging. The staff is made of caring professors set on creating an environment of inclusion.
Q: What was one of your most meaningful memories during your time at OC?
A: Creating a remotely controlled ‘line laser’ turret, to find out the “line laser” that I purchased put a line on the wall instead of a dot. In hindsight this seems obvious but at the time was totally missed,
Q: What are you doing currently?
A: I’m a Senior Project Manager in New Service Introduction at TELUS Business.
Q: Are there any awards or achievements you would like to highlight?
A: I’ve brought to market several new products and built hundreds of locations with fibre, I’m also a business owner with clients around the world.
Q: Who gave you the best advice you ever received?
A: I’ve read a lot of Carl Sagan. I think the best advice I’ve read came from him.
Q: What advice would you give to current or future students?
A: You have many years of work ahead of you, make sure you choose something you enjoy.
Q: Where are you the happiest?
A: Climbing the side of a mountain or in an underwater cavern diving.
Q: What matters most to you right now?
A: The usual suspects, friends and family and of course my doggo’s.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: I would like to be a director of a company but I would settle for sipping margaritas in Mexico.
